FC Scandinavia blog

All-In Translations Ltd. is a proud sponsor of FC Scandinavia, the newest addition to the G.I.D.A. Sunday League in Malta.

To show our support, we will send one of our Football Writers to all of their games this season, and we will update this blog with match reports and player ratings.

Players must be on for at least 30 minutes in order to be rated, and need to have at least five ratings in order to compete for the All-In Translations Player of the Year Trophy.

Best of luck!

MELITA GROUNDS, SPRING CUP SEMI FINAL: AD 2000 VS. FC SCANDINAVIA 1-4 (1-1 FT). FC Scandinavia won 3-1 after extra time despite having no goalkeepers in the squad. “If there are any available goalkeepers on the island, call me!” says coach Johan Nyberg. FC Scandinavia’s preparation for the Spring Cup semi final on Thursday could easily be described as somewhat unusual. When the s...

MELITA GROUNDS, XMAS CUP 1ST GAME: FC SCANDINAVIA (FCS) VS. BIRNAPA 5-1. The main challenge for the FCS players against Birnapa in the first game of the Xmas was not getting waived for offside. Birnapa did not have any substitutes and got a player injured early on. They also chose to leave their defence very high in the pitch, giving meter upon meter for the FCS players to play with...
