Marathon Markus Man of the Match
MELITA GROUNDS, GIDA LEAGUE: FC SCANDINAVIA VS. BIRNAPA 3-0.
Markus Klintborg is in good form and dominated the game from his right back position when FCS secured their second win of the season, much thanks to solid pre-season preparations.

"I have been training more than usual, and especially the running has helped", Klintborg told the FCS blog after a straightforward 3-0 win for FCS against Birnapa on a windy and rainy Melita Grounds Sunday morning.
"My goal is to run a marathon within this lifetime, so I have to work hard on my stamina", Klintborg added.
The right defender who played his first match of the season showed great skills. He refused Birnapa room on their left flank, and Klinborg was also important with offensive involvements and precision in the build-up of FCS´ short passing game.
Two goals by Niklas Petterson and one goal by Lars Johansson was more than enough against the opponents who did not even have one shot on goal. FCS should have doubled the win at least, but wasted many chances, especially by Lars Johansson who usually is very secure in front of goal.
"A shitty match from my side", Johansson commented.
He scored FCS´only goal in the second half when he was played through by Per Hertz who continued to show good form in midfield. 1-0 came after a beautiful strike from Niklas Petterson from 18 meters. Ola Bondesson made the pass. 2-0 was also a beauty, where Petterson put his foot on a nice crossing from the left side by Roy Pedersen.
Coach, player and chairman Johan Nyberg said this when asked to sum up the game:
"A difficult match to play, but we came through. We are happy with three points although we played better against La Vallette last week".
Next league game for unstoppable FCS is on November 6th against AD 2000.
